For the past 25 years I've worked as a touring and session drummer — playing and recording with artists & bands like Kacey Musgraves, Lauren Daigle, Ben Rector, Hunter Hayes, Dave Barnes, Audio Adrenaline, and Better Than Ezra.
I didn't build a career by being the most technically impressive drummer in the room. I built it by being the most prepared, the most reliable, and the easiest to work with — every single time.
That's not a personality trait. It's a set of skills, habits, and ways of thinking that took me years to develop mostly on my own, through trial and error, on real gigs with real stakes.
